We provide market-leading voice and electronic broking services to a huge variety of clients, including all the major investment and commercial banks. This means matching buyers and sellers in the wholesale markets for interest rates, credit, commodities, foreign exchange, equities, equity derivatives and shipping, in deals worth in excess of USD 1.4trillion a day. This can be done over the phone and in person by specialist voice brokers, or by clients using our electronic networks directly. We also offer a range of post trade risk and information services, providing data and helping organisations reduce operational and systemic risk in their markets.
Industry Insight programme:
Our Industry Insight programme is for students graduating in 2015. The one-week programme offers a unique opportunity to learn about the world of interdealer broking and ICAP - to get a taste of what we're about before you make any long-term career decisions.
The programme will see you:
• Attend presentations about interdealer broking and ICAP
• Take part in interactive skills sessions
• Shadow the work of an established professional
• Meet and get to know some of our staff at an informal social networking event
It takes place at the same time that our summer interns join us, so you'll also get to see first-hand what the next possible step in your career with ICAP might be like. By the end of your time with us you'll have developed a much clearer understanding of the nature and culture of our business and will be in a much better position to decide whether we represent the right career option for you.
