This role sits within a centralised project group that delivers market-leading solutions across the business. The team consists of senior project and programme managers who are responsible for the mobilization, planning, delivery, governance and advisory of cross functional change initiatives projects that address issues common to multiple businesses e.g. regulatory compliance, static data, IT architecture and off-shoring.
As well as providing change and programme management expertise, they add value to the business by working closely with service providers (e.g. Finance, IT, Operations, Legal Regulatory and Compliance) to ensure change is fully integrated into the bank from front-office to back-office.
To be successful within this position, you will have; A proven track record of Project Management within the Investment Banking industry, excellent relationship management building & maintenance skills and Experience of concepts relating to Front Office products (e.g. Equities Trading, Foreign Exchange , Rates, Distressed Products, Emerging Markets, Equity Proprietary Trading, Prime Brokerage).
It is likely that the work will be cross-product, therefore an appreciation of multiple investment banking products and an understanding of front to back trade processing will be more valuable than any particular SME skills.
