Main Function
We are looking for a high quality candidate to join the team to lead the Global Strategy and Change programme. The role requires a strong leader with good end-to-end business knowledge and project disciplines to provide a focal point for shaping strategy, defining requirements and driving implementation of change related to the loans businesses across the Investment Bank as well as the Corporate and Wealth businesses.

Main Duties
Serve as a global programme manager for the Global CIB Lending Strategy & Change team, encompassing management of global change team resources and a book of work including a number of medium to large scale projects.
Delegate deliverables effectively ensuring ops change, technology and business / subject matter expertise resources are leveraged effectively in delivery of initiatives.
Develop and maintain detailed projects plans in Excel / MS Project.
Manage key project risks and issues, escalating as required
Produce impactful management reporting via Powerpoint
Lead working group / management update briefings to VP, Director and MD levels.
Work with key global stakeholders and teams to understand and document business needs & priorities.
Ensure stakeholder buy-in and signoff throughout the project lifecycle.
Person Requirements
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
People management experience within line or change management roles.
Experience leading change across major markets areas and operating teams (both tactical and strategic)
Direct experience of the various loan businesses, products and processes is advantageous though demonstrated strong business knowledge in broader fixed income or related asset classes applicable
Strong business and operational knowledge and understanding of what drives scale and growth
Experience of cross regional collaboration with global operating models and stakeholders.
Strong approach to risk management and awareness of control across BAU and change programmes
Experience of and familiarity with external market initiatives in any asset class either from a peer investment banking organisation or from an active buy-side market participant
Track-record of delivery in a significant change or line roles
Prior experience of working with external vendors and peers is an advantage
Experience driving process reengineering and improvement
Understanding of commercial dynamics around businesses and change investment
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products - MS Project, Excel, Visio, Word, and Powerpoint
Ability to learn quickly & absorb complex concepts and issues
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and deliver results
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience driving process reengineering and improvement
Disciplined and structured approach to project and programme management across all aspects of the project lifecycle
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Formal project management and business analysis qualifications valuable but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills including relationship management, communication, teamwork and partnership
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proactive and positive attitude and desire to make a difference
