Job Description
We are working with an impressive TMT boutique advisory firm who have a proven track record of success having closed over 25 deals in the past 4 years and are currently active on 3 live mandates.
The firm is particularly strong in the telecommunications sector, although they have deals in technology and on-line media as well and have recently added two Partners to further develop their network of business origination.
Free from the politics of a typical investment bank you will have the opportunity to work directly with partners of the firm, attend client meetings (where you will be expected to have an input) and work through the entire deal process to completion. Given the strength of connections they have at a senior level with the majority of the worlds leading blue-chip companies they are able to devote the majority of their time to finding solutions to client problems and executing deals rather than endlessly pitching.
As a result there is a culture that is free from the normal crushing investment banking hours and they can genuinely point to providing a work-life balance to all employees.
This is not to say they are a simple lifestyle house as they have closed several deals worth around and above the $1bn mark and have an excellent reputation with their clients as a firm that delivers.
To be considered for this role you will need:
*Minimum of 12 months Investment Banking / M&A experience with a focus on the TMT sector
*Very strong technical skills around financial and operating models
*Ability to work on your own initiative and provide research into the TMT sector
*Be outgoing and want to deal directly with clients
