Financial Accountant
City of London
£28-£32ph - 3 month rolling contract
Main duties of the role will include (but not be limited to):
•Performing financial accounting and reporting for the assigned legal entities
•Sign off the integrity of general ledger including participation in month end reviews.
•Understand the business and explain MI effectively
•Responsible for managing reporting period timetables to include month end, half year, year end and statutory accounts filing requirements
•Ensure existing policies and procedures are documented and assist in documenting new procedures and policies
In order to be considered for this position you must be a Qualified Accountant (CA) with strong people management skills and knowledge of IFRS or UK GAAP knowledge. Knowledge of IAS39 would be a distinct advantage.
