SQL Server DBA
SQL Server DBA; Our client a global leader currently has an exciting opportunity for a SQL Server DBA or Development experience. The successful candidate will join an experienced team providing Production Support across the business. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly experienced technical team based in the south west you will also be given ongoing training and the opportunity to up skill and gaining the latest qualifications available within the industry.
Experience and Responsibilities;
Excellent SQL DBA skills.
Proven experience with SQL Server 2005, 2008
Write/maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and triggers
Proactive monitoring of database performance and performance tuning
Ensuring performance and availability of live databases
Capacity management planning
Index optimisation and troubleshooting very nice to have
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills essential
Outgoing personality as this company and environment is vibrant and hard working.
