Job Description
Our client is a leading European private equity fund, with a very strong reputation in media, technology and telecoms investing. They focus on small to mid cap growth companies and have made a number of significant investments in successful TMT groups in recent years.
They are now looking to recruit an associate to their team, whose brief will be the origination, execution and portfolio management of investments for the fund. You can expect to spend a lot of time meeting with the management of companies, and building networks, as well as working on the deals once an opportunity becomes live. Due to the size of the investments, it is expected that you will work on portfolio management as well.
Candidates will be native German speakers and probably be at the 3rd year analyst to 1st year associate level with their current firm. You must have very good deal experience and have worked on several acquisitions. TMT experience is not key. We are happy to consider candidates from the major investment banks as well as specialist advisory firms as well.
