Job Description
Our client is a top performing asset management firm, focused entirely on emerging markets. They invest in Latin America, Asia, Emerging and Eastern Europe and Africa, and are now looking to add several investment professionals to their London team.
The roles will work on carrying on macro, micro and economic analysis of companies, markets, sectors and issues in global emerging economies. You will assume responsibillity for the coverage of a number of stocks in time, and make buy and sell recommendations to the fund managers and PMs on their investments in the holdings. Day to day this might involve financial modelling, valuations, analysis, visiting companies and management.
Candidates will have a background as follows:
- equity research analysts with asset management firms, with emerging markets experience
- sell side equity research analysts with emerging markets experience
- investment bankers keen to move into asset management from M&A
- candidates will almost certainly have a Eastern European, Russian, Latin American, Asian, Indian background and have at least 3 years experience since graduating
Candidates must already hold valid European VISAs and be based in the UK
