About the opportunity
You will be part of our International, Intermediary and Direct Performance and Planning team supporting the business to achieve their objectives by working with management information, forecasting, operating and strategic plans and decision analysis. As a Finance Business Partner and a central part to the team you will act as the key finance face-off, supporting their plans and core objectives and take the lead when planning, budgeting and forecasting. You will be able to seek out continuous improvement approaches to all processes and be able to present your ideas and suggestions clearly and articulately. As part of the global team with a specific focus on the international bank, you will manage their performance reporting and analysis, analysing regular MI and providing insight into trends and drivers. You will own the budgeting and forecasting responsibilities, and be able to challenge and track performance with the business. In additional to these duties the individual will develop financial models to support decision making with the international bank. This role will also require the candidate to manage one direct report.
About you
You will have a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CA, AMCT/ACT or equivalent) and have previous experience within Baking, ideally within a retail environment. You will be able to demonstrate solid experience within the finance arena, in particular within planning, budgeting, forecasting and able to create and develop financial models to support decision making. As a confident communicator you will be able to build relationships with key stakeholders and present findings and suggestions when required. You will have a track record in managing others and have a strategic and logical approach and will be delivery focused. A commercial ability and experience of the Financial Services industry coupled with a clear understanding of wealth products would all be beneficial along with advanced excel skills and working knowledge of SAP/BW.
