With a complex international structure, which constantly challenges processes and controls this is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an ACA qualified accountant.
You'll be proficient and up to date with your IFRS knowledge, although it can be from FS or Commerce. It's important you have 3+ years post qualified experience, the stakeholders you deal with are international heads of various work-streams, therefore gravitas in senior meetings is as important as your IFRS knowledge.
The role encompasses being the IFRS technical specialist, posing required changes and being proactive in your research and implementation. It also sits closely group treasury and various duties within Financial Reporting.
The company is dynamic, fast-faced and very commercial. The accounting function has over 80 people and there are many examples of people moving around to develop their career resulting in many employees staying for 6+ years.
