Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide timely and accurate settlement of foreign & domestic securities (free & versus payment) of exchange traded securities & securities deliveries for branches in Switzerland, Hong Kong and Singapore and Adam plc London
- Dealing with all kinds of deliveries (stocks, bonds, mutual funds,...)
- Technical understanding of IT processes & testing of Avaloq releases
- Monitoring of outstanding settlements
- Dealing / Coordination with special cases
- Coach and train apprentices and trainees
Skills:
- Profound knowledge of securities processes, comprehensive experience in securities settlements & deliveries
- Enhanced market knowledge of securities processes
- Microsoft Office products & Internet Skills, Knowledge of Avaloq would be an asset
- Highly quality and service oriented
- Well-developed communication skills
- Enjoys dealing with new developments in settlements
Required Experience:
- Banking apprenticeship or equivalent education
- German & English: good oral and written knowledge, French & other languages would be an asset
Other Requirements:
- Able to work under time pressure
- Team player, open-minded
- Initiative, flexible
- To keep overall view in hectic time
- Challenge to work in a mid size environment with direct daily contact to brokers, banks and other financial institutions, regarding delivery issues all over the world
- Possibility to work independently in a young team
