Job Description
Our client, a leading investment management house, is seeking a Derivatives Change Manager to work within their team. Reporting to the Head of Change, the Derivatives Change Manager will be responsible for the scoping, management, governance and delivery of a variety of programmes and projects.
Responsibilities of the Derivatives Change Manager:
- Working with project sponsors, business leads and other stakeholders to develop and maintain quality project documents
- Applying appropriate formal project management standards to planning, progress tracking, risks and issues, and resource management
- Effectively managing project teams to ensure tasks completed within agreed timescales
- Preparing various project reports to Steering Committees and other stakeholders, including Senior Management and Executive as required
- Preparing, managing and monitoring the delivery against plan and budget to ensure progressive development and success of the project / programme
- Identifying and managing dependencies with other projects and business priorities
- Closing down projects in an orderly manner by providing early life support to business teams, creating transition plan and managing the handover from project to 'business as usual'
- To maintain effective relationships across the business and engage actively with key project stakeholders
Background of the Derivatives Change Manager
- Hands on experience working with derivatives essential
- Proven track record and experience in managing projects essential, either directly as a change manager or as a derivatives subject matter expert
- Understanding of derivative clearing preferable but not essential
- Understanding of the full project lifecycle
- Comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders including senior individuals within the front office
- Knowledge of EMIR and/or Dodd-Frank preferable but not essential
This is a permanent position for a Derivatives Change Manager paying an excellent salary plus bonus and benefits.
