The decisions you influence will shape the world around us. And the new ideas you bring will help us explore and overcome the challenges our clients face in today's economy.
We offer full-time graduate programmes in seven very different areas of our business:
- Client Coverage
- Client Capital Management
- Human Resources
- Marketing and Communications
Each programme features two or three placements, designed to provide you with the broadest possible exposure. You will develop an in-depth understanding of our business. And you will gain the skills you need to grow in one of Barclays most dynamic and challenging areas.
Training and development
It all starts with a four-week, offsite induction course., which will provide a solid introduction to our two-year rotational programme. Each year you will attend a 'continued learning week', and training and study will be on going. And you will also take on our Leadership Challenge.
Right from the start, you'll be able to draw upon the advice and support of a 'buddy' and a senior mentor. By the end of your two years, you'll be ready to start exploring the possibilities of a career at the forefront of corporate banking.
Rewards and benefits
Along with the training and support you will need to build an outstanding career with us, we also offer benefits including a competitive starting salary and joining bonus, private healthcare and a pension scheme. The full list is on our site.
You could find yourself working anywhere across our network of offices in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Depending on your role, you may also have the opportunity to spend some time overseas, making the most of a global presence.Wherever you work, you will take on high-profile challenges that make a clear difference to our organisation and our clients.
We will take into account any circumstances that might prevent you moving into a particular role or location. And we will do all we can to find a solution that suits both you and the business.
Who we're looking for
As a Corporate Banking graduate, you will be our future. Your intellect and drive will support the growth of our customers and the communities where we do work. And, in a business that is ready for change, your readiness to suggest and explore new ideas will help us become a top tier corporate bank.
On top of this, you will need to have, or be expecting, a 2.1 degree (or equivalent) in any discipline. GCSE English and Maths at grades A-C (or equivalent) are also required, as are practical work experience and a willingness to relocate if needed.
