Job Description
This role will support high value and focus trading to ensure successful execution whilst adhering to market deadlines across global markets. The team will work closely with the Traders, Securities Lending, Structured Trading and Business Resource Management desks across a broad range of functions from trade processing, depot and collateral management, fail and break monitoring and billing. The primary support to the Fixed Income & Repo Desks by providing trade support and collateral optimization.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate's key deliverables will include:-
• Maintain focus on a robust control environment, mitigate operational and reputation risks faced in the execution of standard flow business and ensure the successful integration of business growth within the Istanbul office.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders internally. Within Operations, Business Unit, IT and Finance across all regions, as well as external relationships, for example, ISE, Citibank. Working alongside traders to provide a trade support service.
• Trade Lifecycle Management ensuring settlement efficiency and oversight of product activity with regards to Front to Back process.
• Ensuring all electronic activity is captured between front end and back end systems.
• Ensure that all the trades on T+0 are checked out and reconciled from the front-end trading systems to the books and records.
• Completing trade flow of any amendments post trade completion
• Completion of position control within a set timeframe and liaising with stakeholders to resolve exceptions
• Timely resolution of any queries generated via the client, MSIP. e.g. example global settlements and controllers
• Investigate P&L related queries in relation to positions and breaks between core front-end trading systems and settlement systems, recognise many different ways in which problems can manifest and be identified.
• Reconciliation of MS Risk versus the Exchange
• Oversight of regulatory and trade reporting as required.
• General operations administration support (to be confirmed/defined)

- Proven experience in a similar Trading Assistant role
