Job Description
As the Financial Controller you will lead the finance function, manage financial transactions, provide key management information, produce annual budget pack and statutory financial statements while managing the external outsourcing arrangements.
A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a knowledge of internal controls, general ledger account analysis and reconciliation are necessary. The successful applicant must also demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills with a willingness to cover all aspects of accounting from data entry to preparation of PLC accounts. Sage Line 50 is the finance system used.
Prior Private Equity/Venture Capital experience would be extremely advantageous, coupled with IT management, systems development, company secretarial and regulatory compliance. Applications should be made now as a shortlist of candidates is currently being created.
