This position is primarily responsible for providing digital marketing across The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones brands in EMEA. Part of a global marketing team, this position is ideal for a creative and energetic marketing professional who enjoys both strategic planning and hands-on execution. What is my personal contribution? Devise and execute marketing programs that engage digital audiences across the web, mobile and tablet for WSJ in EMEA Liaise with the editorial, circulation, and advertising sales teams to build audiences for WSJ in EMEA through digital channels including social and linking partnerships Help develop digital marketing programs for the Dow Jones brand that are fully integrated with offline campaigns Manage email campaigns and other online marketing activities Assist in developing a social media strategy for the WSJ and Dow Jones brands in the region Stay current with emerging technologies, trends and digital tools to increase effectiveness of online strategies Actively participate in the creative process and develop digital assets that target audience behaviours online and through emerging media Develop the department’s use and understanding of web analytics tools, especially Omniture Manage a budget and provide ROI on activities against budgets Manage agency relationships What do you need from me? Experience in digital marketing, including mobile, search, social and emerging media Experienced in working with and managing outside agencies and suppliers Ability to plan for a variety of both short- and long-term projects and execute to plan Clear understanding of the importance of metrics and ROI on digital activities Excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as building both internal and external relationships A creative mind, Entrepreneurial spirit. Able to think inventively Agency and/or brand management experience is preferred. Prior consumer and B2B marketing experience is preferred.
